Working for The Professional Snagging Company
Every day will be different as you travel from your home to inspect properties throughout your region. Once on site you will use our inspection framework and your expert knowledge to ensure the property is completed to an excellent standard for our clients. Most inspections take around four hours depending on the size of the property. By recording your findings on our app you will produce a report to be published for the client. You will be required to process this report once back at home. Some inspections will require the use of specialist thermal imaging and drone equipment. You will ideally have experience of using this equipment, and access to your own equipment for this purpose. However, equipment and training can be provided for the right candidate.

About you:
You will be methodical in your approach to work, have an eye for detail and high standards. Knowledge of new build construction and the completion processes is essential. You will have an enhanced understanding of NHBC technical standards, UK building regulations and the NHQB Pre-Completion Checklist. Experience of Site Management or Assistant Site Management (CSCS Black Card) is desired. Holding a building surveying qualification or a similar RICS / RPSA / CIOB qualification / membership is essential. However, for the right candidate we can help support you gaining this status.
Having experience of using an app to raise issues and reports is essential, although training can be provided for the right candidate. You must be computer and mobile literate with excellent written communication skills. You must also hold a full UK Driving Licence, your own vehicle for travel and have the right to work in the UK.
We are looking for both full time PAYE inspectors and professionals who are flexible with their working week.
For flexible working, you will be able to select the days you are available for work. We aim to get our inspectors between 3-5 working days per week. Some inspectors work less at their request. In some parts of the country, we are booked weeks in advance. But as with any industry, there are busier and quieter periods. The more flexible you can be, the more work you are likely to have. As a full-time employee you will be expected to work at least five days per week, and one of those days must be a Saturday.
